📋 Description

  • Serve as the Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC) for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) operations supporting advanced aerial logistics and UAS programs across the United States.
  • Operate drones in compliance with FAA Part 107 regulations, ensuring all flights are conducted safely, legally, and within authorized airspace.
  • Plan and execute mission-specific flight operations, including pre-flight inspections, route planning, and post-flight data collection and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate flight logs, mission records, and operational documentation for all UAS activities.
  • Coordinate with ground teams, mission planners, and technical support personnel to ensure seamless execution of aerial operations.
  • Conduct pre-flight safety briefings and risk assessments for each mission, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with drone hardware, software, and communication systems during operations.
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols and industry best practices for UAS operations, including emergency response procedures.
  • Participate in training sessions and operational reviews to maintain proficiency and stay current with evolving UAS technologies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with program managers to provide real-time feedback on mission performance, equipment reliability, and operational challenges.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and stored according to manufacturer guidelines and company standards.
  • Communicate effectively with federal, state, and local authorities as needed to obtain airspace authorizations or report flight activities.
  • Remain on-call for urgent or time-sensitive missions as required by program timelines and operational demands.
  • Maintain a clean driving record and be prepared to travel to mission locations across the United States as needed.
  • Demonstrate professional conduct and reliability in all interactions with clients, partners, and team members.
  • Support the growth of TSMG’s talent network by contributing to operational standards and sharing expertise with other RPICs in the network.
