📋 Description

  • Serve as the Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC) for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) operations supporting advanced aerial logistics and UAS programs across the United States.
  • Operate drones in compliance with FAA Part 107 regulations, ensuring all flights are conducted safely, legally, and within approved operational parameters.
  • Plan and execute mission-specific flight profiles, including pre-flight inspections, route planning, weather assessment, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate flight logs, mission reports, and operational documentation for all drone missions conducted under TSMG’s programs.
  • Collaborate with ground teams, mission planners, and technical support staff to ensure seamless integration of UAS operations into broader logistical workflows.
  • Conduct post-flight analysis to evaluate mission performance, identify operational improvements, and report technical anomalies or equipment issues.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot drone hardware, payloads, and ground control systems to ensure mission readiness and operational reliability.
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols, security procedures, and data handling policies during UAS operations.
  • Respond to dynamic operational requirements, including last-minute mission changes, airspace restrictions, or emergency contingencies.
  • Participate in training sessions, certification renewals, and proficiency evaluations to maintain current FAA Part 107 certification and company-specific operational standards.
  • Coordinate with air traffic control and local authorities as required to obtain necessary clearances for flight operations in controlled or restricted airspace.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly stored, transported, and maintained in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company policy.
  • Represent TSMG professionally during client-facing or public operations, maintaining a high standard of conduct and operational transparency.
  • Support the development of scalable drone operation protocols and contribute feedback to improve operational efficiency and safety standards.
  • Work independently in field environments with minimal supervision while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory and company requirements.
  • Be available for on-call or scheduled missions across the United States, with potential for travel to various operational sites as needed.
  • Maintain situational awareness of evolving FAA regulations, industry best practices, and emerging UAS technologies relevant to aerial logistics.
  • Ensure all data collected during missions is handled securely and in compliance with applicable privacy and data protection standards.
