- • Lead strategic sales initiatives across the Canadian Prairies to drive revenue growth and exceed regional sales targets.
- • Design and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with Cars Commerce’s digital ecosystem, including Cars.com, Dealer Inspire, AccuTrade, Dealerclub, and the Cars Commerce Media Network.
- • Train and coach dealers and internal sales teams on digital car dealership KPIs and the value proposition of Cars Commerce’s products and services.
- • Conduct in-depth market and OEM benchmark analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats within the automotive marketing industry.
- • Build and maintain long-term relationships with automotive dealerships across the Prairies, understanding their needs and tailoring solutions to meet business objectives.
- • Manage, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, professional development, and performance feedback to ensure exceptional results.
- • Oversee the full sales cycle from lead generation to closure, ensuring efficient use of CRM systems for tracking, reporting, and optimization.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Digital Advertising, Websites, CRM, VBDC, Dealer Support, and executive leadership to align on product delivery and customer experience.
- • Deliver regular sales performance reports to executive leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and strategic recommendations for future growth.
- • Stay current on emerging automotive technologies and digital advertising trends, recommending innovations to maintain competitive advantage.
- • Analyze sales data, market trends, and financial reports to inform data-driven adjustments to sales strategies and forecasting.
- • Manage sales department budgets, including forecasting, expense tracking, and financial planning to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- • Maintain deep familiarity with the dealer network and market dynamics across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
- • Utilize CRM software and Google Suite proficiently to manage pipelines, communications, and reporting.
- • Travel as required to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support regional sales operations.
- • Adapt quickly to evolving market conditions, customer demands, and shifting business priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- • Communicate clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences, including dealers, internal teams, and executives, articulating value propositions and strategic plans.
- • Establish and nurture industry partnerships through strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- • Operate as a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, prioritizing tasks effectively in a complex, multi-team environment.
