  • • As a Salesforce Developer at Gem.com, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in the success of our Service Cloud implementation and its surrounding integrations. This is a unique opportunity to not only leverage your deep technical expertise but also to step into a leadership position, guiding projects and mentoring junior team members. You will be the primary technical liaison for our Customer Success Managers (CSMs) and directly with our clients, ensuring their Salesforce environments are optimized, efficient, and aligned with their business objectives.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve managing and resolving a diverse range of cases and tasks, ensuring all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met with precision and efficiency. This includes handling fundamental administrative functions such as user account maintenance, creating insightful reports and dashboards, and performing critical data management tasks. You will be instrumental in keeping the Salesforce platform running smoothly and providing users with the data they need to succeed.
  • • A significant aspect of this role is the design, configuration, and ongoing management of integrations between Salesforce and various external systems. You will utilize your expertise in SOAP and REST APIs, other Salesforce-specific APIs, and ETL tools to build robust and reliable connections. This requires a thorough understanding of data flow, security protocols, and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration challenges.
  • • You will act as a crucial bridge between our business users, third-party vendors, and the application development teams. This involves actively collaborating with the user community to meticulously define and document development requirements, ensuring that technical solutions precisely address business needs. Your ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, understandable business language will be vital in fostering effective communication and alignment.
  • • A key responsibility is participating in the review of business user requirements and product specifications, as well as the application design. You will provide expert technical input to ensure that proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with best practices. This proactive involvement helps prevent issues down the line and ensures the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • • You will be responsible for providing accurate and timely status reports to the project lead consultant, keeping stakeholders informed of progress, potential roadblocks, and key decisions. This transparency is essential for project success and client satisfaction.
  • • Beyond project work, you will provide direct end-user support, addressing configuration changes, resolving bugs, and implementing minor enhancements to the Salesforce platform. This hands-on support ensures the continued optimal performance of the CRM.
  • • As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will serve as the immediate point of escalation for Associate Consultants, Consultants, and Developers. Your guidance and expertise will be invaluable in helping them overcome technical challenges and develop their own skills. You are expected to proactively offer assistance and share your knowledge with anyone seeking help, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
  • • This role demands a strong work ethic and the ability to operate effectively both independently and as part of a fast-paced, dynamic team. You will need to be a creative, critical thinker with strong analytical skills, capable of approaching problems from unconventional angles and developing innovative solutions.
  • • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are paramount, as you will be tasked with diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues. Furthermore, exceptional time-management and priority-management skills are essential to juggle multiple projects and tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.
