📋 Description

• The Security Analyst is a 6-month contract role within the Security Operations team at Binance.US, reporting to the Director of Security Operations, responsible for protecting user assets and strengthening the company’s security posture across infrastructure and technology environments.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring logs, alerts, and telemetry for abnormal behavior; conducting in-depth security investigations to assess risk and root causes; coordinating incident response efforts including containment, mitigation, and recovery; owning the vulnerability management program by identifying, prioritizing, and tracking remediation; maintaining detailed documentation of incidents and procedures; and contributing to security awareness through training and guidance for stakeholders.
• Binance.US is a U.S.-licensed and regulated crypto platform building the bridge between traditional finance and Web3, operating as a remote-first team committed to financial freedom through compliance and innovation, with all roles employed via BAM Management US Holdings Inc. or BAM Management Canada Holdings Inc.
• In this role, the individual will develop advanced threat detection and incident response skills, gain hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, CSPM, and vulnerability management tools, deepen expertise in crypto and financial services security, and grow their ability to drive cross-functional security initiatives while working in a mission-driven, values-based organization.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity with strong understanding of modern threat landscapes and defensive strategies
• Hands-on experience with IT security tools such as SIEM, EDR, Cloud Posture Management (CSPM), Firewalls, and Vulnerability Management tools
• Relevant technical certifications in areas such as SIEM, EDR, CSPM, or vulnerability management
• Experience in cryptocurrency or financial services industry is a strong plus
• Experience with offensive security practices (penetration testing, red teaming, adversary simulation) is a plus
• Demonstrated autonomy and accountability with proven ability to solve complex technical challenges independently
