- • Lead the development and implementation of security controls across Allstate’s technology ecosystem, ensuring alignment with enterprise security strategy and business objectives.
- • Manage and mentor multiple security engineering teams focused on secure software development, cloud security, application security, and DevSecOps practices.
- • Collaborate with global stakeholders including business, technology, and compliance teams to translate security strategy into actionable goals.
- • Act as a technical authority in secure software best practices, promoting adoption across the organization.
- • Drive stakeholder engagement to influence security posture and risk management decisions.
- • Oversee the design, implementation, testing, and documentation of security tools and platforms (IAM, SIEM, vulnerability management, cloud security).
- • Evaluate system enhancements and upgrades to inform the security product roadmap.
- • Provide technical and functional leadership to team members in security engineering.
- • Ensure adherence to industry and technology best practices in secure development and operations.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of experience in security engineering, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or managerial role.
- • Deep understanding of secure software development, vulnerability management, cloud security, application security, and modern security engineering practices.
- • Experience with secure software configuration and development, including secure APIs, authentication/authorization, encryption, and threat modeling.
- • Experience working with modern security frameworks, tools, and methodologies (e.g., DevSecOps, CI/CD security, cloud-native security).
