- • As a Senior Account Executive at Blockworks Group LLC, you will drive high-value sales in the crypto and emerging tech space, owning the full sales cycle for strategic accounts and positioning Blockworks’ data, media, and events products as essential strategic assets for institutional clients and leading protocols.
- • You will proactively source and manage a pipeline of high-potential accounts, including crypto protocols, financial institutions, and Fortune 500 brands, by conducting deep research, crafting tailored solutions, and engaging C-suite stakeholders with conviction and precision.
- • You will build and expand multi-threaded relationships within target organizations, landing initial deals and then growing them through broader adoption across teams, longer commitments, and increased deal value, often in the $100k–$250k+ range.
- • You will represent Blockworks at key industry events, using in-person interactions to accelerate trust, uncover opportunities, and strengthen partnerships that originate from both outbound and inbound efforts.
- • You will maintain rigorous sales discipline by logging all activity in the CRM, forecasting accurately, and managing your pipeline with urgency and accountability, ensuring consistent performance over time.
- • You will contribute to team growth by mentoring junior sellers, sharing best practices, and helping refine sales processes, thereby raising the overall performance and cohesion of the sales organization.
- • You will stay deeply informed about crypto market dynamics — including emerging narratives, protocol developments, and capital flows — integrating this knowledge into your sales approach to anticipate client needs and lead more insightful, timely conversations.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of five years of experience in a closing sales role, preferably in crypto, SaaS, or emerging technology, with a proven track record of consistently exceeding quota.
- • Demonstrated success in closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals, including seven-figure transactions, with the ability to articulate the full sales process, stakeholder engagement, and value delivery.
- • Experience selling into or working with DeFi protocols, crypto exchanges, institutional digital asset teams, or similar high-tech financial organizations.
- • Comfort using AI tools for account research, outreach personalization, and sales acceleration to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- • Proven ability to build and manage a self-sourced book of business with creativity, discipline, and long-term relationship focus.
- • Experience in mentoring peers, leading informal initiatives, or contributing to team process improvement beyond individual quota responsibilities.
