- • As a Senior Analog Layout Engineer at Ciena Corporation, you will contribute to the development of high-speed analog design circuits for optical fiber transmission solutions, playing a key role in advancing coherent fiber-optic product technologies used globally in telecommunications.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include conducting layout feasibility studies with senior analog designers, creating layouts for analog blocks through floor planning, placement, and routing, and performing rigorous verification checks (DRC, ANT, LVS, PERC, EM, IR) to ensure design quality and reliability.
- • You will join a vibrant, experienced team with over 30 years of innovation in high-speed circuits, including pioneering work on the world’s first high-speed DAC and ADC analog macros that enabled modern coherent fiber-optic systems.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in advanced deep-submicron CMOS and BiCMOS technologies, enhance proficiency with industry-standard layout tools like Cadence Virtuoso and Siemens Calibre, and contribute to cutting-edge SERDES and precision analog circuits for 112G and 224G optical communication systems.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of relevant industry experience
- • Experience in custom analog and mixed signal layout design with strong knowledge of deep sub-micron CMOS devices (e.g., Finfet transistors)
- • Proficiency in industry-standard layout tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, Siemens Calibre, Ansys Totem) and familiarity with layout design flows for advanced technology nodes
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address layout-related issues efficiently
- • Meticulous attention to detail ensuring the highest level of accuracy and quality in all layout designs
- • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and foundry technologies
