• • We are actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Android Engineer to join our growing mobile team. This role is pivotal in contributing to and evolving Jump's native Android application, which serves as the primary digital touchpoint for sports fans to engage with their beloved teams. As an early member of our mobile engineering cohort, you will have a significant impact on the core features, architectural decisions, and overall technical direction of the app as it scales to meet the demands of a rapidly expanding user base.
• • In this role, you will take full ownership of the end-to-end development lifecycle for critical Android features. This encompasses everything from initial concept ideation and design through to final deployment and ongoing maintenance. You will be instrumental in addressing and resolving bugs across both our shared platform code, built using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP), and our native Android code written in Kotlin, ensuring a stable and high-performing application.
• • A key responsibility will be writing clean, maintainable, and thoroughly documented code. This includes developing robust unit tests to guarantee the reliability and scalability of all implemented features. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and fellow engineers to deeply understand requirements, provide constructive feedback on designs and technical feasibility, and ultimately deliver exceptional, thoughtful fan-facing experiences that resonate with our audience.
