- • Senior Application Security Engineer at Polygon Labs, responsible for securing the company's blockchain payments infrastructure across smart contracts, backend services, and frontend surfaces, ensuring security scales with rapid product development.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting end-to-end security reviews of Solidity, Go, TypeScript, and Python codebases, building agentic AI-powered CI/CD security pipelines, triaging bug bounty submissions, embedding with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle, and leading AI security practices through custom tooling and workflows.
- • Polygon Labs is a global blockchain payments company building the Polygon Open Money Stack to enable instant, reliable, and internet-scale money movement onchain, supporting trillions in onchain value transfer and serving major banks, fintechs, enterprises, and consumer applications.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in Web3 security, AI-augmented application security, and secure engineering practices while shaping the security posture of a high-impact blockchain infrastructure used globally.
🎯 Requirements
- • Full-stack security fluency across Solidity, Go, TypeScript, and Python with ability to review unfamiliar codebases and produce meaningful findings within a day
- • Core competency in smart contract security including production experience auditing or building secure Solidity, deep EVM internals knowledge, DeFi protocol familiarity, and understanding of historical smart contract exploits
- • Proven depth in AI workflows for security: building custom prompt chains, CI integrations, and task-specific plugins using tools like Claude Code and Codex, with clear understanding of AI's role and limitations in security work
- • Experience making security decisions under real-time pressure in Web3 environments where speed and rigor must coexist
- • Public portfolio demonstrating security thinking via audit reports, bug bounty writeups, research posts, or open-source tooling that reflects your personal standard of excellence
