📋 Description

• Senior Backend Engineer role focused on spearheading development of a greenfield product in the wellness & fitness space, evolving content management systems, and ensuring platform robustness, scalability, and efficiency.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product, engineering, and data teams, mentoring team members, advocating for iterative development practices, and championing engineering excellence through best practices and strategic technical decisions.
• WellTech Limited is a global wellness technology company with Ukrainian roots, operating wellness apps like Muscle Booster, Yoga-Go, and WalkFit used by over 25.5 million people worldwide, with hubs across Cyprus, Ukraine, Poland, Spain, and the UK.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong product & business mindset with proven ability to drive building of successful products/platforms used by product teams
• Comprehensive Domain Driven Design skills with proven impact building/refactoring large-scale systems powering customer-facing products
• Strong hands-on backend engineering background with experience in relational/non-relational databases and AWS infrastructure (Lambda/API Gateway/SQS/SES/CloudFormation/CloudWatch)
• Experience building efficient, scalable, reliable backend systems in Python or Kotlin (Python is primary language)
• Demonstrated ability to shape and elevate engineering culture, methodologies, and best practices in a team
• Experienced in maximizing developer productivity through technical choices and highly iterative development practices
