📋 Description

• As a Senior Data Analyst at Veeam Software Group GmbH, you will own the delivery of corporate dashboards and analytical insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization, with a primary focus on ARR and subscription revenue analytics.
• You will design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards spanning key corporate metrics including ARR, incremental ARR, net revenue retention (NRR), acquisition, upsell, downsell, and churn, while going beyond reporting to proactively surface trends, anomalies, and opportunities for senior leadership.
• You will serve as the primary analytics point of contact for executive and cross-functional teams, translating business questions into data-driven answers and working directly with VPs and C-level stakeholders to translate complex SaaS metrics into clear, actionable stories.
• You will write and optimize SQL to query large-scale databases, collaborate with data engineering to ensure data quality, and drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to automate reporting and introduce new analytical capabilities, including AI-assisted tools where appropriate.
• You will establish clear definitions, data dictionaries, and best practices for corporate and ARR-related metrics across the organization, ensuring consistency and reliability in reporting.

• You will join a high-visibility role reporting to the Director of Data Analytics, where you can grow your expertise in SaaS analytics, data storytelling, and executive partnership while making a real impact on business performance.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a data analyst, business intelligence, or analytics engineering role, ideally within a SaaS or subscription-revenue environment
• Advanced SQL skills with experience writing efficient, well-structured queries for large, complex datasets; experience with modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift) is a strong plus
• Tableau expertise: proven ability to build polished, production-grade dashboards from scratch, including calculated fields, LOD expressions, performance optimization, and publishing/governance workflows
• Executive communication skills: comfortable presenting to senior leaders, fielding tough questions, and distilling complex data into clear narratives
• Strong business acumen: deep understanding of corporate performance metrics and SaaS fundamentals (ARR, MRR, NRR, churn, expansion, contraction) and how they connect to broader business objectives
