📋 Description

• As a Senior Developer Advocate at MongoDB, you will engage SMB customers to accelerate their success on Atlas and unlock the full potential of the document model by creating inspiring resources and content while collaborating with a global team of Developer Advocates.
• You will empower developers—from startups to fast-growing SMBs—to integrate advanced data capabilities into their applications, develop expertise in MongoDB’s core capabilities and Atlas features, deliver workshops and webinars, create technical content across formats, and deliver virtual and in-person sessions to audiences of up to 400 developers.
• You will join a globally distributed Developer Relations team that works remotely across time zones, collaborating with Product, Marketing, Analytics, and other cross-functional teams to support peer reviews, demos, and content creation while sharing knowledge to help each other grow.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in MongoDB’s platform including Vector Search and Voyage AI, refine your ability to teach complex topics simply, and expand your impact by guiding developers to build, launch, and scale applications using MongoDB’s unified database platform.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in creating effective developer-focused code and content
• At least 5 years of experience in customer-facing and developer-centric roles such as Technical Support, Solutions Architecture, or Developer Relations, working with development teams on high-performance, scalable database implementations
• Proficiency with at least one of Java, Python, or JavaScript, and familiarity with two or more of Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Rust, or PHP
• Strong presentation skills (in-person and virtual), including live streaming and public speaking at events
• Written and spoken English language proficiency
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% primarily within the UK and Europe, and to adjust working schedule for overlap with US or Asia time zones
