- • Own the global Sales Engineering function that powers Samba TV’s enterprise growth. You will set the vision, charter, and operating model for a team that sits at the intersection of product, data science, and revenue. Your leadership will turn Samba’s proprietary streaming and broadcast data into clear, quantifiable business value for C-suite buyers at the world’s largest media companies and advertisers.
- • Define and evolve the SE charter, org design, coverage model, and annual plan. Balance headcount, budget, and capacity across North America, EMEA, and APAC to ensure every strategic account has the right technical talent at the right moment in the sales cycle.
- • Hire, coach, and retain top-tier managers and senior individual contributors. Build transparent career ladders, compensation bands, and performance rhythms that keep the team motivated and growing. Foster a culture of curiosity, craftsmanship, and customer obsession.
- • Drive measurable revenue impact: lift win rate, compress sales cycles, and raise average contract value. Run value-engineering workshops, ROI models, and deal reviews that quantify the impact of Samba’s measurement, planning, and tune-in solutions.
- • Establish reference architectures, solution patterns, and repeatable frameworks for activation, measurement, tune-in, and outcomes. Ensure every proposal is technically sound, secure, and aligned to industry best practices.
- • Govern security, privacy, and clean-room standards end-to-end. Partner with Legal, InfoSec, and Procurement to navigate enterprise diligence, redlines, and complex compliance requirements without slowing deals.
- • Lead C-suite workshops and proof-of-value engagements. Translate complex data pipelines, identity graphs, and TV outcomes into crisp narratives that resonate with CFOs, CMOs, and CTOs alike.
- • Shape pricing, packaging, and lighthouse plays in lockstep with Sales, Product, and Marketing. Use field intelligence to influence the roadmap and prioritize features that unlock new revenue streams.
- • Build scalable enablement assets—discovery guides, objection handling, demo paths, and certification programs—for AEs, CSMs, and partners. Ensure every customer-facing team can articulate Samba’s value proposition with confidence.
- • Deepen alignment with cloud providers, clean-room vendors, CDPs, DSPs, and data partners. Co-create joint value propositions and go-to-market motions that accelerate adoption and expand Samba’s ecosystem reach.
- • Own SE pipeline influence and forecast hygiene. Run stage-gates, technical close plans, and weekly deal reviews to ensure every opportunity has a clear path to signature.
- • Ensure seamless post-sale handoffs and time-to-value. Partner with Customer Success and Solutions Architects to reduce implementation risk and accelerate first-dollar revenue recognition.
- • Represent Samba at industry events, advisory boards, and strategic accounts. Evangelize the future of TV measurement and the role of first-party data in a privacy-first world.
🎯 Requirements
- • 12–15 years of experience in AdTech, MarTech, or media measurement with at least 5 years leading managers and directors
- • Proven track record influencing $20M+ ARR and closing complex, multi-year enterprise deals
- • Deep fluency in measurement frameworks, clean-room architectures, identity resolution, and TV outcomes
- • Working knowledge of APIs, SQL, ETL, and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
