📋 Description

• • Senior Engineer / Lead Engineer – AI CAE will drive AI innovation in CAE analysis, executing end-to-end projects from idea to deployment using Reduced Order Modelling (ROM), simulation-driven ML, and Design of Experiments (DoE) to solve manufacturing problems while ensuring data security and delivering measurable impact.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to translate CAE business problems into AI solutions; designing, developing, and fine-tuning AI/ML models for simulation result prediction, design optimization, and automation of repetitive CAE tasks (meshing, boundary conditions, post-processing); evaluating and validating model performance; deploying models into production with IT/AI teams; establishing monitoring and maintenance processes; ensuring compliance with data security and regulatory requirements; documenting workflows; and staying current with advancements in neural networks, multi-physics simulations, surrogate modelling, and physics-informed learning.
• • The role is part of General Motors’ Virtual Engineering team in Bengaluru, contributing to a 3-year special assignment focused on enabling AI across manufacturing workflows, aligned with GM’s vision of Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions, and Zero Congestion.
• • The person will gain deep expertise in applying AI/ML to CAE in automotive manufacturing, lead cross-functional AI-CAE initiatives, develop production-grade ML systems in a hybrid work environment, and contribute to transformative innovation in vehicle development through data-driven simulation and automation.
