- • Own and lead the end-to-end development of core product components within a high-traffic, monetized D2C platform used by hundreds of thousands of global users.
- • Collaborate directly with the Product team to design scalable, maintainable, and high-performance system architectures that support rapid growth and expansion.
- • Lead code reviews and enforce engineering best practices across the team to maintain high code quality and application reliability in a fast-paced environment.
- • Mentor junior and mid-level developers by providing technical guidance, feedback, and career development support to elevate overall team performance.
- • Actively contribute to hiring, onboarding, and integrating new engineering team members to scale the organization effectively.
- • Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and development workflows to enable continuous, reliable deployments in a production environment.
- • Monitor, debug, and improve the stability, scalability, and performance of systems handling large volumes of traffic and revenue monthly.
- • Apply data-driven decision-making by leveraging A/B testing frameworks and analytics to influence product direction and engineering priorities.
- • Use Next.js and modern ReactJS with TypeScript to build and maintain responsive, high-performance frontend interfaces integrated with robust backend services.
- • Design and optimize PostgreSQL and Redis data models, focusing on schema efficiency, query performance, and system scalability.
- • Implement and maintain integrations with CMS (Payload) to support dynamic content management within the product ecosystem.
- • Shape and influence engineering culture as the team grows, promoting accountability, ownership, and technical excellence.
- • Take proactive ownership of system issues before they escalate, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions without requiring direction.
- • Make technical decisions backed by logic and data, clearly communicating trade-offs and reasoning to cross-functional stakeholders.
- • Operate in a remote-first environment with team collaboration synchronized within the CET time zone (±4 hours), ensuring real-time alignment.
- • Contribute to the development of a world-class engineering organization supporting multiple products within the same scalable ecosystem.
- • Maintain a high bar for system reliability while operating under real-world pressure and tight deadlines, avoiding legacy maintenance in favor of forward-looking innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • At least 6 years of overall full-stack application development experience
- • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Next.js
- • Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern ReactJS
- • Experience leading a small team in a continuous deployment environment
- • Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and Redis, including performance tuning and schema design
- • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud infrastructure (AWS or Cloudflare preferred)
