- • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and building end-to-end product features across Java/Node.js backend services and React frontend, contributing to multi-stack production environments, owning CI/CD and observability, improving system reliability and security, participating in code reviews, and using AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining engineering judgement.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in full-stack system design, architectural maturity, production ownership, and AI-augmented engineering practices, while raising the engineering bar through thoughtful feedback and pragmatic improvements that directly impact educational access for thousands of families.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong full-stack engineering experience with deep backend expertise in Java, Node.js, or similar modern stacks, paired with solid React and TypeScript skills for building both services and UI.
- • Proficiency in using AI tools as part of the development workflow to accelerate coding, combined with strong engineering judgement to review, challenge, and harden AI-generated code before production.
- • Demonstrated understanding of engineering fundamentals including system design, data modelling, trade-offs, and long-term maintainability, treating languages and frameworks as tools rather than identity.
- • Experience working in multi-stack environments (Java, Node, React, PHP) and improving production systems incrementally as architecture evolves.
- • Familiarity with production ownership practices including CI/CD, containerisation, cloud environments (AWS), and observability.
