📋 Description

• Senior Full Stack Engineer at Luopay S.A., a fast-growing FX and cross-border payments company in Africa, helping African businesses pay international suppliers faster, more transparently, and competitively.
• You will join a small team of experienced engineers to build internal tools and customer-facing products, including payment operations, treasury management, FX trading, and compliance systems, processing millions of euros in daily transactions.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include shipping products, building React web applications, designing intuitive user interfaces, implementing HTTP APIs in Golang, and leveraging AI-driven development practices.
• The team is focused on scaling financial infrastructure for Africa, with systems like payment platforms, internal tools for treasury and FX, AI-powered OCR for invoices, KYC onboarding, AML monitoring, core banking, ledger systems, and payout automations.
• You will grow technically by working across the full stack, contributing to mission-critical payment infrastructure, and collaborating with both engineers and non-engineers to deliver impactful, customer-centric solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building web products
• Experience building APIs in Golang, Typescript, or any other statically typed language
• Experience working in a small, high-paced technical team
• Product builder and customer-centric mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to navigate trade-offs and balance effort vs impact
