📋 Description

• Senior Fullstack Engineer role focused on Go and React.js to enhance AI-powered applications within the Metasploit ecosystem at Rapid7, contributing to cybersecurity innovation and purple team transformation.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and enhancing AI-driven software, architecting scalable solutions, collaborating with researchers and product teams, ensuring exceptional UI/UX, diagnosing complex issues, building automation tooling, and championing team success.
• Part of Rapid7’s Metasploit team, a distributed group of security researchers and engineers working with the open-source community to maintain and advance the world’s most popular open-source hacker toolkit while ensuring product stability and innovation.
• Opportunity to deepen expertise in fullstack development, AI integration in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and observability while driving impact in a mission-driven security organization focused on protecting 11,500+ customers.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience with Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React (Next.js) or equivalent
• Experience with modern cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with design patterns and message queues (RabbitMQ, SQS)
• Understanding of APIs, interprocess communication, Docker, and networking/deployment tooling
• High accountability, ownership, and ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight
• Product-driven mindset with openness to change, curiosity, and continuous learning
