- • As a Senior Hybrid Cloud / DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in operating, maintaining, and evolving this complex hybrid environment, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance between our AWS cloud presence and our on-premises data centers.
- • Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining and scaling our robust PostgreSQL databases, ensuring their reliability and performance under high load.
- • You will also be responsible for the administration and scaling of our Kafka clusters, a critical component for our real-time data streaming and processing needs.
- • A significant part of your role will involve the management and optimization of our data pipelines, often referred to as "data grabbers," ensuring efficient and reliable data ingestion and processing.
- • You will provide essential support for our High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments, which are vital for the intensive computational demands of our ML modeling and research efforts.
- • Drive the advancement of our Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, leveraging AWS CDK with TypeScript as our primary tool, and employing Ansible and Bash scripting for robust automation.
- • Take ownership of managing access control across the entire hybrid environment, encompassing both AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) and on-premises user management, implementing stringent security best practices at every level.
- • Proactively develop and champion a self-service DevOps model, empowering our development teams to deploy and manage their services efficiently and autonomously, fostering a culture of agility and innovation.
- • Contribute to architectural decisions and strategic planning for the future of our infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
- • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the hybrid infrastructure, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventative measures.
- • Collaborate closely with development, data science, and trading teams to understand their needs and translate them into robust and scalable infrastructure solutions.
- • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing, DevOps, and AI, and evaluate their potential application within our organization.
- • Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the team, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
- • Implement and monitor comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to ensure the health and availability of the platform.

🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience operating and evolving complex hybrid cloud environments, specifically integrating AWS with on-premises data centers.
- • Deep and practical knowledge of Kubernetes, with a strong preference for experience with AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
- • Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CDK, Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
- • Demonstrated experience administering PostgreSQL and Kafka in high-load, production environments.
- • Proficiency in at least one programming language; TypeScript is strongly preferred, but proficiency in Python or other relevant languages is acceptable if you possess a strong willingness and aptitude to learn TypeScript.
- • Linux Power User status with a solid understanding of networking protocols and system administration.
- • A proactive and results-oriented mindset, demonstrating readiness to take full ownership of outcomes and a commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
- • Hands-on experience with Agentic AI Coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Cursor, or similar AI-driven development assistants.
