- • The Senior Informatics Technical Specialist serves as Beckman Coulter’s front-line contact with customers, delivering software solutions that bridge laboratory information systems and analytical instrumentation to improve data management and sample workflow efficiency.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include integrating automation, informatics, and LIS systems by writing custom algorithms, defining integration gaps, leading laboratory informatics implementation projects, and managing third-party hardware integration while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- • You will be part of Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a global leader in clinical diagnostics within Danaher Corporation, where over one million tests are run hourly worldwide, impacting 1.2 billion patients annually through innovative diagnostic solutions.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in laboratory informatics, lead complex implementation projects, and grow your technical and consulting skills while contributing to improved patient care through advanced laboratory automation and data integration.
🎯 Requirements
- • Associate degree in science, IT, or medical technology plus 3+ years of related experience in a clinical lab environment or with a clinical LIS.
- • Must be able to travel 85% of the time to client sites, including domestic and occasional international travel.
- • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the last 3 years.
- • Ability to regularly lift, move, or place up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, sitting, squatting, kneeling, and stair climbing.
- • Bachelor’s degree in science or Medical Technology preferred, with laboratory experience considered a plus.
- • Proven experience managing personal schedules, travel, company assets, and expenses within guidelines.
