📋 Description

• Senior Manager Business Banking Credit Risk Strategy at Bank of Montreal (BMO) is a strategic leadership role focused on developing and maintaining data-driven decision support strategies for business banking credit risk. The role enables high-quality, data-informed decisions for designated business portfolios, processes, or customer journeys by designing analytical solutions, risk frameworks, and governance models.
• Day to day, the incumbent provides strategic input to senior leaders as a trusted advisor, interprets regulations, leads change management programs, designs and produces reports and dashboards, manages data governance and database coordination, leads execution of operational programs, and ensures alignment between stakeholders during regulatory audits and examinations. They also develop decision strategies using analytics, predictive modeling, simulation, and business rules to optimize business outcomes while applying BMO’s Risk Management Framework.
• The role sits within BMO’s Data Analytics & Reporting job family group and serves as a specialist resource to senior leaders at a group/enterprise-wide level. 🎯 Requirements

• Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent combination
• Expert-level product knowledge for the designated business or portfolio
• Expert-level knowledge of decision strategy frameworks, analytics, and optimization techniques
• Expert-level knowledge of decision systems, analytics platforms, and business rule engines
• Expert-level knowledge of regulatory requirements
• In-depth/expert verbal and written communication skills
• In-depth/expert analytical and problem-solving skills
• In-depth/expert influence and collaboration skills with cross-group focus
• Ability to manage ambiguity and apply data-driven decision making
