- • As Senior Manager of Engineering at Teamworks Technologies, you will lead four engineering teams building the Coaching product—a video-first analytics platform that syncs performance data with game film to deliver actionable insights for coaches across professional and collegiate sports worldwide.
- • Your day-to-day will involve owning people leadership for four engineering managers and 15–20 engineers, setting vision, driving execution, managing change during a transition to full-stack development, ensuring technical quality in big data and computer vision systems, and aligning roadmaps with Platform and product leaders.
- • You’ll join a mission-driven engineering organization at Teamworks, the Operating System for Sports™, serving 6,500+ organizations globally with a culture rooted in honesty, humility, innovation, and accountability.
- • In this role, you’ll develop expertise in scaling engineering organizations through technical transitions, deepen your impact in sports technology and AI adoption, and gain experience driving organizational change that results in higher-performing, aligned teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven track record managing engineering managers (not just individual contributors) with ability to set vision, drive alignment, and hold teams accountable for outcomes
- • System design-level technical depth in big data contexts—able to make strong architectural and delivery decisions without writing code
- • Demonstrated change management experience leading teams through significant organizational or structural transitions to measurably positive outcomes
- • Evidence of autonomous problem-solving: identifying issues, building solutions, and executing without requiring managerial approval
- • Must be located in the Eastern Time Zone (EST) due to fully remote team collaboration dependencies
