📋 Description

• As a Senior Manager, Software Engineering at Sentinel Laboratories Ltd in Bengaluru, you will lead the Agent Platform engineering team in India, driving the development and scalability of SaaS services that protect millions of endpoints worldwide by processing billions of daily requests.
• You will own hiring, management, and retention of high-performing engineering teams, drive execution and delivery of projects, manage cross-team dependencies, and foster a culture of engineering excellence and continuous learning while engaging with senior leadership to influence strategic initiatives.
• SentinelOne is an AI-native cybersecurity company pioneering unified protection across endpoint, cloud, identity, data, and AI systems, committed to building a safer future through innovation, real-time analytics, and intelligent automation.
• In this role, you will grow your leadership impact by managing managers and individual contributors, shaping technical strategy for high-load distributed systems, and advancing your expertise in cloud-native infrastructures, CI/CD, and stakeholder alignment within a global, mission-driven organization.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of progressive software engineering experience, including 3–5 years of increasing managerial responsibility and at least 2 years at Manager level or higher
• Proven success in managing, hiring, mentoring, and developing high-performing engineering teams of 8+ direct reports, including internationally distributed and cross-functional teams
• Strong proficiency in Java, Go, or Python with ability to lead technical strategy and deep understanding of software design principles
• Deep background in architecting, building, and scaling high-load, resilient distributed systems on AWS or GCP
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and modern CI/CD tools like Github Actions or ArgoCD
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with ability to translate technical decisions into business outcomes
