  • • As a Senior Marketing & Conversion Analyst, you will be the guardian of our marketing performance, taking end-to-end ownership of tracking quality, ensuring comprehensive visibility into marketing efforts, and mastering our funnel reporting. This role is crucial for bridging the gap between our Marketing, Tech, and Data teams, guaranteeing that every marketing decision is underpinned by reliable, actionable insights.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to own and meticulously manage our entire tracking and measurement setup. This includes the implementation and maintenance of Google Tag Manager (GTM), encompassing both client-side and server-side tagging strategies. You will also oversee the integration and performance of marketing pixels, the precise configuration of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) events, and the logic behind our campaign tracking. A key aspect of this is ensuring that all new campaigns, website features, and landing pages are designed with measurability from their inception, providing immediate data for analysis and optimization.
  • • A critical component of your role involves ensuring strict adherence to GDPR and consent management regulations. You will possess a deep understanding of how consent mechanisms impact user attribution, event tracking accuracy, and overall campaign performance. Your expertise will be vital in aligning our tracking infrastructure with both legal requirements and technical constraints, maintaining data integrity while respecting user privacy.
  • • You will move beyond the surface-level metrics provided by platform dashboards to conduct in-depth marketing performance analysis. This includes evaluating key performance indicators such as Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), Marketing Efficiency Ratio (MER), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and contribution margin. You will perform deep dives into cohort analysis and Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV), directly connecting campaign performance to backend revenue generation and subscription behavior. This analytical rigor will uncover hidden opportunities and potential pitfalls.
  • • A significant part of your contribution will be mapping and optimizing our webshop funnel. You will meticulously identify drop-off points, quantify their revenue impact, and segment analysis by traffic source, device, and user behavior. This data-driven approach will directly support our Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) initiatives, providing structured, actionable insights to improve user journeys and conversion rates.
  • • To facilitate robust analysis and reporting, you will build and maintain reliable marketing data models using advanced SQL and dbt (or similar data transformation tools). You will be responsible for creating clear, actionable reports and dashboards, and for establishing and enforcing consistent metric definitions across the organization. This ensures that all stakeholders have access to trustworthy and unified data for decision-making.
  • • You will act as a key advisor to the marketing team, providing insights that inform budget allocation, campaign strategy, and channel optimization. Your work will directly influence how we acquire and retain customers, impacting our overall business trajectory.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 4+ years of experience in marketing analytics, with a strong preference for experience in a DTC/e-commerce environment, particularly those with subscription models and complex paid traffic dynamics.
  • • Expertise in Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4), including setup, implementation, troubleshooting, and advanced configuration.
  • • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis, coupled with experience in dbt or similar data transformation tools.
  • • Deep understanding of attribution frameworks, consent-based tracking (including GDPR and Consent Management Platform logic), and webshop funnel/CRO methodologies.
  • • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, combined with a strong ownership mindset and the ability to thrive in fast-moving environments.
