- • Serve as the primary scientific and clinical expert for CareDx’s innovative transplant diagnostics portfolio, engaging with transplant centers, nephrologists, pathologists, and key opinion leaders across the United States to advance the understanding and adoption of precision-medicine solutions that improve long-term graft survival and patient outcomes.
- • Develop and execute a comprehensive medical affairs strategic plan for your assigned geographic territory, aligning scientific exchange, investigator-initiated research, and educational initiatives with corporate objectives while ensuring full compliance with FDA, PhRMA, and company policies governing medical communications and interactions with healthcare professionals.
- • Deliver high-impact scientific presentations and peer-to-peer discussions in both virtual and in-person settings, translating complex genomic and immunological data into clear, clinically relevant insights that empower clinicians to make evidence-based decisions for kidney, heart, lung, and pancreas transplant recipients.
- • Identify, cultivate, and maintain long-term relationships with top-tier academic centers and community transplant programs, serving as a trusted scientific partner who provides timely, unbiased information on AlloSure® and AlloMap® surveillance assays, emerging biomarkers, and real-world evidence that supports optimal patient management.
- • Lead the design, submission, and oversight of investigator-initiated studies (IIS) and collaborative research agreements, working cross-functionally with Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure robust study protocols, timely data collection, and high-quality publications that expand the body of evidence supporting CareDx technologies.
- • Provide strategic medical input into Phase IV post-marketing commitments, health-economic outcomes research, and registry analyses, translating clinical insights into actionable recommendations for product development, market access, and reimbursement strategies that accelerate adoption and improve patient access to life-saving diagnostics.
- • Serve as an internal scientific resource for Commercial, Marketing, and Market Access teams, reviewing promotional materials for scientific accuracy, developing training curricula for field-based personnel, and ensuring that all external communications adhere to the highest standards of scientific integrity and regulatory compliance.
- • Represent CareDx at major transplant congresses (ATC, ISHLT, AST, ERA), coordinating symposia, poster presentations, and advisory boards that showcase cutting-edge data and foster collaborative dialogue with global experts in transplant medicine and personalized diagnostics.
- • Monitor and analyze emerging literature, competitive intelligence, and regulatory developments in transplant diagnostics, synthesizing insights into concise medical briefs and strategic recommendations that inform executive decision-making and keep the organization at the forefront of scientific innovation.
- • Mentor and coach junior MSLs and cross-functional colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous learning, scientific excellence, and patient-centricity that reflects CareDx’s mission to make transplant rejection a thing of the past through precision genomics and data-driven care.
- • Collaborate closely with Patient Services and Digital Health teams to integrate clinical evidence into patient education materials, mobile applications, and telehealth platforms that empower transplant recipients to actively participate in their own care and improve long-term adherence to surveillance protocols.
- • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in all scientific engagements, ensuring that clinical research initiatives reflect the demographics of the transplant population and that educational programs address disparities in access to advanced diagnostics across underserved communities.
