📋 Description

• As a Senior Mobile Engineer at Tern Limited, you will own the development of the advisor mobile app from the ground up, shaping how travel advisors interact with the platform and enabling them to manage their businesses on the go.
• You will ship working features every week, build and extend Rails APIs, establish mobile release and on-call processes, and collaborate with engineers, PMs, and designers to define best practices for hybrid mobile development.
• Tern is a venture-backed company transforming the $127B travel agency industry by empowering small business travel advisors with modern technology, helping them run more efficient and profitable operations while promoting intentional, sustainable travel.
• You will gain end-to-end ownership experience, influence mobile engineering standards, deepen your full-stack and hybrid app expertise, and work in an AI-augmented development environment that values agency, learning, and impact.

🎯 Requirements

• Shipped mobile ownership: You've personally shipped a mobile app to the App Store and/or Play Store and kept it healthy after launch.
• Full-stack range: You're comfortable writing the backend and the screen, and have built or extended the APIs your app consumed.
• Pragmatic about the toolkit: You've worked across native and hybrid approaches and make clear-eyed calls on when an embedded web view

• High agency: You've taken ambiguous, under-specified problems and driven them based on what ships and holds up.
