- • As a Senior Platform/Infrastructure Engineering Manager at Nava PBC, you will lead a team of 10-12 platform engineers responsible for delivering reliable AWS cloud infrastructure that supports mission-critical systems for CMS, improving access to healthcare and public services for millions of Americans daily.
- • You will guide and develop your team through coaching, feedback, and growth opportunities while fostering an inclusive culture, removing obstacles, and aligning efforts with organizational goals to ensure accountability and high performance.
- • You will collaborate closely with development, operations, security, and architecture teams to design, implement, and scale secure, resilient platform solutions, including AI enablement, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools, while managing budgets and optimizing cloud costs.

- • You will define and enforce engineering standards, ensure thorough documentation, facilitate knowledge sharing, and stay hands-on in architecture and implementation to unlock developer productivity and strengthen platform reliability across FedHealth programs.
🎯 Requirements
- • At least 5 years of professional experience in DevOps/infra roles, with minimum 2 years in platform development and 3 years in formal management of sizable technical teams
- • Proven experience leading infrastructure/DevOps engineering teams, establishing strategic vision, and delivering robust platform solutions
- • Advanced expertise in AWS cloud, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), automation, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools
- • Strong ability to collaborate across technical and management stakeholders, communicate complex concepts clearly, and drive process improvements
- • Understanding of security principles, risk management, and regulatory/audit requirements for platform engineering in government contexts
