📋 Description

• Senior Product Engineer role focused on building backend infrastructure for an AI-first enterprise software company that creates a semantic intelligence layer for business data, enabling AI systems to understand and act on complex enterprise data.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and owning backend systems, developing scalable data processing pipelines, owning features end-to-end from data modeling to API integration, building high-performance APIs and real-time services, architecting distributed systems, working with relational and graph databases, making architectural decisions, deploying services in containerized environments across Azure and Google Cloud, integrating AI tools into development workflows, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to engineering best practices.
• The company is a fast-growing, AI-first enterprise software provider building a next-generation semantic intelligence layer that transforms fragmented enterprise data into structured, business-meaningful information for AI systems, operating in the enterprise software/AI/data infrastructure space.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer, Software Engineer, or Product Engineer in a SaaS or product-driven environment
• Strong experience building data-intensive or distributed systems in production
• Proficiency in backend development (e.g., Python, Java, or similar languages), with strong preference for Python (async frameworks like FastAPI)
• Solid understanding of APIs (REST), real-time communication patterns (e.g., SSE), data modeling, and cloud-based architectures
• Hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience working with databases and data systems (e.g., PostgreSQL; familiarity with graph databases is a plus)
