- • As a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Feathr Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping how our innovative nonprofit marketing platform is perceived and understood in the market. Your primary mission is to make Feathr not only easier to comprehend but also more compelling and straightforward to sell, thereby driving growth and impact for our customers.
- • You will be responsible for developing and meticulously maintaining Feathr’s core positioning, messaging architecture, and go-to-market (GTM) strategies. This involves deeply understanding and articulating the value proposition for our key customer profiles, including associations and nonprofits, as well as specific priority sub-segments.
- • This pivotal role sits at the critical intersection of Product, Partnerships, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. You will act as a central hub, enabling these diverse teams by providing clear, consistent, and actionable frameworks, templates, and definitive source-of-truth assets.
- • Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, this position is ideally suited for a candidate who excels as both a compelling storyteller and a pragmatic operator. You will transform complex product capabilities and partner value into simple, differentiated, and memorable narratives that can be consistently leveraged across all customer-facing functions.
- • A core responsibility will be the development and ongoing refinement of Feathr’s messaging architecture. This includes defining the overarching category narrative, establishing clear positioning statements, crafting compelling value propositions, identifying robust proof points, and articulating the unique reasons why Feathr is the superior choice in the market.
- • You will define distinct segment narratives tailored specifically for associations and nonprofits, along with 2-3 other priority sub-segments that align with our strategic go-to-market focus. This ensures our messaging resonates deeply with the unique needs and challenges of each audience.
- • You will collaborate closely with the Product and Leadership teams to translate strategic objectives into crisp, external-facing language that enhances customer understanding and drives conversion rates.
- • Leading the go-to-market strategy for significant product launches will be a key aspect of your role. This encompasses defining the target audience, crafting the core narrative, developing the packaging story, creating comprehensive enablement kits, and outlining clear adoption plans.
- • To ensure predictability and measurability, you will create a standardized launch brief template and establish a simple, repeatable launch cadence in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- • Post-launch, you will conduct thorough retrospectives to capture critical learnings, which will then be used to update messaging, refine assets, and improve adoption guidance.
- • A significant focus will be placed on building and maintaining scalable enablement systems. This involves creating and curating reusable source-of-truth assets such as positioning briefs, a value proposition library, a proof point library, competitive narratives, and objection handling guidance.
- • You will provide essential templates and standards—including pitch deck skeletons, one-pager formats, and talk track outlines—empowering Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to create their own team-specific assets efficiently, preventing the Product Marketing Manager from becoming a bottleneck.
- • You will partner with the Revenue Marketing team to ensure all campaign materials, website copy, and creative executions remain tightly aligned with the established messaging architecture and segment priorities.
- • Facilitating a lightweight yet effective messaging governance cadence, including monthly refreshes and launch alignment meetings, will be crucial for maintaining consistency across all teams.
- • Establishing and managing a lightweight voice-of-the-customer (VoC) program will be essential. This includes conducting customer interviews, analyzing win-loss reports, and reviewing call and support themes to derive insights that inform messaging updates and product roadmap inputs.
- • You will build and maintain up-to-date competitive intelligence, detailing key alternatives, differentiators, potential pitfalls, and effective talk tracks that reflect real-world deal dynamics.
- • Monitoring market signals relevant to Feathr’s product categories and priority segments, and summarizing their implications for leadership and go-to-market teams, will be a continuous activity.
- • Developing a robust customer proof system is vital. This includes managing a case study pipeline, identifying compelling story angles by segment, quantifying customer outcomes, and ensuring reference readiness.
- • You will collaborate with Marketing and Customer Success to capture impactful customer stories that support pipeline generation, customer adoption, expansion, and retention efforts.
- • Working closely with the Partnerships team, you will define and communicate the strategic value of Feathr’s integrations and the advantages offered by our partner ecosystem.
- • You will create essential partner-facing narrative inputs and reusable content modules, such as integration value points, landing page sections, and case study angles, to support partner-led initiatives.
- • Success in this role is defined not by building bespoke assets for every request, but by enabling other teams through well-defined frameworks, reusable templates, and strong cross-functional alignment.
- • This role requires a proactive approach to understanding customer needs and market dynamics, translating them into clear, actionable marketing strategies that drive business results for Feathr and its nonprofit clients.
