  • • This pivotal role is designed for a proactive and self-driven individual who possesses the acumen to identify high-impact opportunities and the drive to execute them with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience, armed with proven product marketing playbooks that have yielded success in previous roles, and the ability to implement them swiftly and effectively. Equally crucial is a passion for storytelling; the ability to articulate the compelling narrative of Popl, our groundbreaking product, the industry challenges we address, and our trajectory as a rapidly growing company. A strong enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools to enhance speed, derive deeper insights, and scale output is highly valued.
  • • As Popl's inaugural dedicated Product Marketing hire, you will report directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO). This strategic position sits at the critical nexus of Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. You will be instrumental in shaping and leading the product narrative, defining how we position and launch product updates, crafting compelling stories for field engagement, and developing educational resources to ensure customers derive maximum value from our platform.
  • • Recognizing that Popl's value proposition is not monolithic, this role demands an understanding of diverse user needs. The marketing administrator managing our dashboard and the sales representative capturing leads via mobile at a trade show represent distinct user profiles with unique challenges and communication requirements. Furthermore, a significant aspect of this role involves educating potential buyers who may not yet recognize the problem Popl solves, demonstrating a superior alternative to their current methods.
  • • For individuals who thrive on genuine ownership from the outset and are energized by the challenge of translating complex products into simple, compelling narratives, this role offers an unparalleled opportunity. You will be empowered to make a significant impact from day one, shaping the future of product marketing at Popl.
  • • Key responsibilities include owning the narrative for product updates and launches, translating technical features developed by Product and Engineering into engaging, customer-centric content distributed across email, LinkedIn, and the company website. You will develop essential Sales and Customer Success enablement materials, including presentations, one-pagers, and battle cards, equipping these teams with the confidence and information needed for successful client interactions.
  • • A critical function will be the regular auditing of all product marketing content to ensure its continued relevance and accuracy as the product and market landscape evolve. You will also play a key role in supporting webinars and customer education initiatives, assisting in the planning and execution of sessions designed to enhance customer proficiency with Popl and highlight new functionalities.
  • • Furthermore, you will be deeply integrated into the product development lifecycle, as well as our sales, marketing, and customer success operations. This embedded position will enable you to tighten the feedback loop with leadership, ensuring that all content accurately reflects the product's capabilities and resonates with genuine customer needs and interests. Your insights will be invaluable in refining our go-to-market strategies and product positioning.
