- • Lead performance testing initiatives for complex, high-traffic enterprise applications across web, mobile, and API platforms to ensure scalability, reliability, and optimal user experience under load.
- • Design, develop, and execute automated performance test scripts using industry-standard tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling to simulate real-world usage scenarios and identify bottlenecks.
- • Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to define performance requirements, establish KPIs, and integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- • Analyze performance test results to identify system limitations, memory leaks, response time degradation, and resource utilization issues, providing actionable insights for optimization.
- • Own the end-to-end performance testing lifecycle—from test planning and environment setup to execution, reporting, and post-release monitoring.
- • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in performance testing best practices, tool usage, and test automation methodologies.
- • Establish and maintain performance test frameworks and reusable test assets to improve efficiency and consistency across multiple projects.
- • Work with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to provision and manage test environments that mirror production configurations.
- • Document performance test cases, results, and remediation plans in alignment with Agile and DevOps workflows.
- • Advocate for performance as a non-functional requirement by influencing product roadmaps and sprint planning with data-driven recommendations.
- • Stay current with emerging performance testing tools, techniques, and industry benchmarks to continuously improve testing strategies and outcomes.
- • Communicate performance risks and quality metrics to stakeholders through clear, concise reports and dashboards.
- • Ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards during performance testing activities.
- • Participate in root cause analysis of production performance incidents and contribute to preventive measures to reduce recurrence.
- • Work within a global, distributed team to align performance testing efforts across time zones and geographically dispersed development centers.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in QA performance testing for enterprise-scale applications
- • Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling
- • Strong scripting skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation
- • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- • Experience analyzing system metrics (CPU, memory, network, I/O) and performance logs
