• • **What You’ll Do Day-to-Day**
• • **Full-Stack Development**: Independently design, develop, and deploy scalable features using **React** on the frontend and **Java/Python** on the backend. You will own end-to-end delivery of features, ensuring they meet high standards of performance, reliability, and user experience.
• • **AI Integration & Innovation**: Build and maintain **MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers** to expose New Relic’s telemetry data to **LLMs (Large Language Models)** and AI agents. This involves integrating AI-enhanced workflows into the platform, enabling customers to leverage cutting-edge AI capabilities for observability and analytics.
• • **System Ownership & Scalability**: Take full responsibility for the reliability, performance, and scalability of services that process **millions of messages per second** and handle **petabytes of data**. You will ensure these systems are multi-threaded, highly concurrent, and optimized for distributed environments.
• • **Code Excellence & Collaboration**: Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code while actively participating in peer code reviews. Collaborate closely with **Product Managers** and **Designers** to transform wireframes and requirements into polished, production-ready software. Contribute to internal technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and best practices.
• • **Performance Optimization**: Identify and resolve bottlenecks across the entire stack—from slow UI renders to inefficient backend queries. Implement high-performance solutions to enhance the speed, efficiency, and scalability of New Relic’s observability tools.
