• • As a Senior Software Engineer, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass the full software development lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on API architecture and data integration. You will be tasked with designing, developing, and implementing robust GraphQL APIs, ensuring unified data access across diverse systems. A key aspect of your role will involve leading the expansion of our semantic API architecture, which includes meticulous schema design, optimizing resolvers for performance, and implementing effective data normalization strategies. You will also play a crucial role in establishing and enforcing data governance and security practices for these semantic API layers, ensuring the integrity and safety of our data. Collaboration will be a significant part of your work, as you'll work closely with Data Engineering teams to seamlessly integrate various data sources and implement sophisticated transformation patterns. Furthermore, you will lead quality improvement initiatives, conducting thorough code reviews, ensuring schema validation, and driving performance optimization efforts across the platform. Your expertise will be invaluable in mentoring junior engineers, providing technical leadership and guidance on GraphQL and semantic architecture best practices, and developing comprehensive documentation for API patterns and implementations, thereby fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and technical excellence within the team.
