📋 Description

• Senior Software Engineer, JavaScript/TypeScript (Remote) at Bjak Sdn. Bhd., a leading insurance portal in Southeast Asia dedicated to expanding access to affordable and sustainable financial services across ASEAN.
• Develop high-quality backend systems using NodeJS and frontend applications with ReactJS/NextJS, ensuring production stability, resolving critical issues, and optimizing existing code for performance and scalability.
• Join a dynamic, innovative team at Bjak, headquartered in Malaysia with operations expanding across the region, focused on leveraging technology like custom APIs, trading systems, and data science to democratize financial services.
• Mentor junior developers, review pull requests, support cross-functional teams, and grow technical expertise in full-stack development, cloud platforms, and modern DevOps practices while contributing to impactful financial inclusion initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• Over 3 years of full-time experience in software engineering
• Proficient in backend development technologies such as NodeJS, NestJS, ExpressJS, GraphQL
• Proficient in frontend development technologies such as ReactJS, NextJS, and Styled-components
• Experienced in database management, including MongoDB and MySQL
• Familiar with automation workflows using tools like Selenium, Cypress, and Puppeteer
