• • Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and business benefits to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a clear and compelling message.
• • Excel in discovering intricate customer requirements, meticulously aligning SailPoint’s robust solutions to address unique identity challenges, and expertly demonstrating the platform’s capabilities.
• • Embark on a structured and supportive onboarding journey designed for success, with clear milestones and achievable goals within your first 3, 6, and 12 months.
• • Within your first month, you will complete essential onboarding coursework, gain a high-level understanding of SailPoint’s organizational structure, familiarize yourself with extensive video collateral, master the core SailPoint pitch, and build foundational relationships with key internal teams including Digital Sales, Account Executives, Marketing, Channel, and Sales Leadership.
• • You will also meet your assigned buddy, establish regular one-on-one meetings with your manager, and actively shadow discovery calls, presentations, and demos to absorb best practices and gain practical insights.
• • By the end of your first three months, you will have completed all assigned training to become ‘field ready,’ confidently present SailPoint’s platform and capabilities to management, maintain consistent communication with your buddy, and establish regular collaborative meetings with partnering Account Executives, Digital Sales, Customer Success, and Delivery Services teams.
• • You will be prepared to execute as a Lead Solution Engineer, understand the RFx response process, utilize relevant tools, and lead your first RFx response, demonstrating immediate impact.
• • Within your first year, you will achieve full platform training completion and attain product certification, solidifying your expertise.
• • Develop and consistently maintain a value-driven, outcome-based narrative that resonates with customer business objectives.
• • Confidently engage with senior executives, articulating the strategic business value of identity security and its impact on organizational goals.
• • Lead the technical aspects of sales opportunities from initial discovery through presentation, demonstration, evaluation, and successful closure, working in tandem with your partnering Account Executives.
• • Contribute meaningfully to customer success stories, white papers, blogs, and social media posts, showcasing SailPoint’s thought leadership and expertise in the Identity Security Market.
• • Actively participate in internal meetings, knowledge sharing sessions, and enablement initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
• • Mentor and coach new sales and presales team members, sharing your knowledge and best practices on the SailPoint solution.
• • Become a recognized Solution Engineering rock star within the organization, embodying SailPoint’s commitment to innovation and customer success.
