📋 Description

• Senior/Staff Design for Test Engineer responsible for end-to-end ownership of robust, testable silicon—from early test strategy definition to verified DFT implementation, pattern generation, and silicon bring-up for the OLIX Decode Accelerator 1 (DX-1), a breakthrough AI hardware accelerator.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include architecting and implementing comprehensive DFT strategies for high-throughput digital pipelines, leading integration and verification of Scan, JTAG, Boundary Scan, and Memory BIST features, developing ATE-compatible test patterns, driving RTL development in SystemVerilog/Verilog/VHDL with DFT focus, analyzing and minimizing DFT impact on PPA, collaborating with mixed-signal and software teams on test interfaces, and mentoring junior engineers while leading DFT design reviews.
• Olix USA Inc. is pioneering a new paradigm in AI hardware infrastructure by building the first accelerator architected specifically for decode, using rack-scale co-design of logic, data movement, packaging, optics, and interconnect to overcome the limitations of decade-old hardware blueprints and address the massive infrastructure gap in AI compute.
• The role offers the opportunity to drive breakthrough test architectures for high-volume ASICs, gain deep expertise in advanced DFT flows at cutting-edge CMOS nodes, influence product yield and reliability at scale, and grow as a technical leader in a multidisciplinary team shaping the future of AI hardware.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of hands‑on DFT architecture, implementation, and verification for high‑performance ASICs or SoCs, including ownership of at least one product with comprehensive DFT coverage
• Proven success implementing and verifying advanced DFT features (e.g., Scan/ATPG, Boundary Scan, Memory BIST/Repair) on multi‑hundred‑MHz to multi‑GHz clock domains
• Expertise with industry‑standard EDA flows: Scan insertion, ATPG, pattern simulation (gate-level), fault modeling, and diagnosis tools
• Demonstrated proficiency with DFT flows: compression techniques, EDT, JTAG/IEEE 1149.1/1687, and managing large pattern sets
• Proficiency using Python/Tcl scripting for DFT flow automation, pattern generation/management, and silicon debug/bring-up
• Solid grounding in semiconductor device physics, fault models (stuck-at, transition, bridging), and yield enhancement strategies
