• • As a Senior Staff Equipment Engineer at Impinj, you will play a critical role in supporting the production of advanced semiconductor equipment used in RAIN RFID manufacturing, directly enabling the connection of everyday items to the Internet of Things.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities include supporting daily production activities of consigned equipment at an OSAT facility, collaborating with maintenance and facilities teams to ensure optimal equipment performance, monitoring and analyzing process metrics using advanced Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to drive yield and utilization improvements, overseeing the creation and maintenance of equipment documentation such as specifications, training materials, and audit reports, and mentoring junior engineers and technicians in plasma process development and troubleshooting.
• • You will be part of Impinj’s global engineering team, a pioneer in RAIN RFID and IoT technology, working alongside process engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure the reliability and efficiency of plasma-based semiconductor tools critical to producing high-volume RFID inlays used across retail, healthcare, automotive, and logistics industries.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in plasma etch and dry etch technologies, strengthen your leadership and mentoring capabilities, gain experience in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environments, and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives that directly impact product quality and global supply chain reliability.
