- • As a Senior Team Leader in Retread Manufacturing at Goodyear, you will drive operational excellence, quality, and innovation across up to six retread plants within the Commercial Tire and Service Centers (CTSC), ensuring alignment with business strategy, safety standards, and customer expectations while leading plant managers and their teams to achieve peak performance.
- • You will partner with business leaders to establish the vision and strategic direction for retread manufacturing operations, translating corporate goals into actionable plant-level initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency across multiple facilities.
- • Serving as the subject matter expert for retread processes, you will ensure adherence to stringent quality standards, safety protocols, maintenance best practices, and environmental regulations, acting as the go-to authority on compliance and technical excellence.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring plant performance metrics, identifying improvement opportunities, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize throughput, reduce waste, and strengthen financial outcomes.
- • You will lead and develop plant management teams through coaching, performance feedback, and talent development, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and operational discipline across geographically dispersed facilities.
- • Collaboration with cross-functional teams—including engineering, supply chain, finance, and quality—will be essential to align resources, resolve operational challenges, and support innovation in retread technology and process adoption.
- • With up to 70% travel required, you will regularly visit plants to assess operations, provide on-site leadership, conduct audits, and ensure consistent application of Goodyear’s operational standards and safety culture.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field; alternatively, 10 or more years of manufacturing operations experience in lieu of a degree.
- • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, including at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role overseeing teams or plant functions.
- • Demonstrated background in innovation and technology adoption within manufacturing environments, with proven ability to implement new processes or equipment to improve efficiency and quality.
- • Proven track record of leading multi-site operations and driving measurable performance improvements in productivity, quality, cost reduction, or safety.
- • Strong financial acumen with demonstrated success in managing budgets, controlling costs, and delivering positive financial results in manufacturing settings.
- • Retread Manufacturing experience is required, including hands-on knowledge of retread processes, quality assurance systems, and safety compliance standards specific to tire retreading.
