- • Own the technical and commercial development of complex Protection & Control proposals from bid strategy through contract negotiation, ensuring sound commitments, risk understanding, and project success.
- • Lead the full technical bid process by analyzing customer inquiries, RFQs, and tenders, determining scope of supply, and coordinating matrix teams across Application Engineering, EHS, Product Engineering, and Renewables.
- • Develop optimum protection and control system solutions by analyzing technical specifications, ensuring compliance, completeness, and on-time delivery.
- • Manage pre- and post-bid clarifications, secure subcontract offers early, and prepare detailed cost estimates with risk/opportunity assessments and contingency allowances.
- • Influence sales strategy with commercial awareness, stay current on industry trends, and recommend solutions that exceed basic requirements.
- • Work remotely with autonomy to make high-impact decisions within budgets and guidelines, contributing to service, quality, and delivery objectives.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree
- • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years with Protection and Control philosophies, schemes, and standards
- • Minimum of 5 years experience with CSA, ANSI, IEC, and IEEE standards
- • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with substation network communication protocols (DNP3 and IEC61850)
- • Exposure to local area networks, communication schemes, and protocols for substation IEDs (e.g., SEL, Siemens, ABB relays)
