- • Black White Zebra is seeking a highly motivated and strategic SEO Strategist to spearhead the launch of new B2B brands and content sites. This is a unique opportunity to build a new function from the ground up, leveraging your deep SEO expertise to identify untapped market opportunities, meticulously plan high-quality SEO publications, and orchestrate their successful launch.
- • In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in establishing a repeatable and scalable process for launching new SEO-driven content properties. Your primary objective will be to ensure that each new site is not only well-structured and of the highest quality but also strategically positioned from day one to attract significant organic traffic and drive revenue growth.
- • You will be an integral part of the dynamic Media team, collaborating closely with cross-functional departments including Content Operations, SEO specialists, Tech, Design, and UX. This collaborative environment will allow you to integrate SEO best practices seamlessly into the entire site development and launch lifecycle.
- • Reporting directly to the Content Operations Director, you will have the autonomy and responsibility to own projects from conception through to launch. This includes conducting thorough market research, identifying keyword opportunities, defining content strategies, and overseeing the technical and on-page optimization required for immediate organic visibility.
- • Your strategic vision will be crucial in identifying new market opportunities. This involves in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and trend forecasting to pinpoint niches with high growth potential and low competition.
- • You will be responsible for the comprehensive planning of high-quality SEO publications. This entails defining the site architecture, content pillars, and initial content outlines, ensuring alignment with target audience needs and search engine best practices.
- • A key aspect of your role will be coordinating the successful launch of these new sites. This includes working with technical teams to ensure proper site setup, schema implementation, and initial indexing, as well as collaborating with design and UX to create user-friendly and engaging interfaces.
- • You will develop and refine a repeatable process for scaling SEO content site launches. This involves documenting best practices, creating templates, and identifying efficiencies to enable the rapid and successful deployment of multiple new properties.
- • The ultimate goal is to consistently launch new SEO content sites that are not only technically sound and aesthetically pleasing but are also optimized to quickly gain traction in search engine results pages (SERPs), leading to accelerated traffic and revenue generation.
- • Once launched and demonstrating initial organic traction, you will strategically hand off these sites to the broader Media team for ongoing content production and optimization, allowing you to focus on the next wave of new site initiatives.
- • This role demands a strategic thinker who thrives on building and innovating. You should be highly organized, possess exceptional attention to detail, and be comfortable taking ownership of projects from start to finish.
- • You will have a strong analytical mindset, enjoying the deep dive into data to uncover insights. - • Collaborating with UX/UI designers to ensure optimal user experience and conversion pathways.
- • Working with the tech team to oversee website development, ensuring technical SEO best practices are implemented from the outset.
- • Planning and overseeing the creation of foundational content for new sites.
- • Developing and documenting a scalable launch process for new SEO content sites.
