📋 Description

• • Join Radicle Health as a Software Engineer II and become the technical force behind software that directly improves how human-services agencies serve vulnerable communities. You’ll own the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of full-stack features across our growing suite of products, translating complex social-service workflows into elegant, reliable code.
• • Work in a fully remote, cross-functional squad that includes product managers, UX researchers, QA engineers, and implementation specialists. You’ll participate in every stage of the product life-cycle—from discovery interviews with case workers to post-launch telemetry reviews—ensuring the technology you ship solves real problems for real people.
• • Architect and build scalable web services and React-based front ends that integrate with legacy government databases, modern cloud APIs, and mobile data-collection tools. Expect to write clean, well-tested TypeScript, Python, and occasionally Go while leveraging AWS, Docker, and Infrastructure-as-Code patterns.
• • Champion engineering excellence by leading code reviews, establishing testing strategies, and mentoring junior developers. You’ll help define our technical standards, automate CI/CD pipelines, and introduce new tools that accelerate delivery without sacrificing quality or security.
• • Translate regulatory requirements (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2) into pragmatic engineering controls. You’ll collaborate with compliance and security teams to implement encryption, audit logging, and role-based access models that keep client data safe and agencies in good standing.
• • Instrument features with observability hooks and analyze usage data to guide iterative improvements. You’ll run A/B tests, interpret metrics, and present findings that shape the roadmap, ensuring every line of code drives measurable impact for social-service providers and the individuals they serve.
• • Contribute to open-source projects and internal libraries that the broader human-services ecosystem can reuse. Whether it’s a schema for interoperability or a reusable React component for consent capture, your work will extend beyond Radicle Health to benefit the entire sector.
• • Engage directly with customers during onsite visits, virtual training sessions, and support escalations. Hearing how a foster-care worker uses your feature to cut paperwork in half—or how a housing coordinator now flags at-risk clients faster—will ground your technical decisions in human outcomes.
• • Participate in quarterly “innovation sprints” where teams pitch moon-shot ideas that could transform service delivery. Past sprints produced AI-driven risk scoring and offline-first mobile apps; your creativity could spark the next breakthrough.
