📋 Description

• As a Software Engineer, iOS Core Product at Speechify, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the company’s mission to eliminate reading barriers for over 50 million users worldwide by enhancing the iOS app that has been recognized as Apple’s App of the Day and a Chrome Extension of the Year.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will include leading key engineering and product decisions, actively shipping production code for the Speechify iOS app, collaborating within a dedicated product team, participating in product discussions to shape the roadmap, and maintaining and enhancing the app’s complex architecture to support scalability and performance.
• You will join a fully distributed, high-caliber team of nearly 200 engineers, AI researchers, and product experts from top companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and Stanford, as well as high-growth startups such as Stripe, Vercel, and Bolt, all working in a flat organization that rewards technical excellence and rapid delivery.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in iOS development, influence product strategy, and contribute to meaningful impact by helping users with learning differences gain reading superpowers, all while growing as a leader in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI
• Experience with multithreading programming
• Experience working with CI/CD infrastructure and Fastlane
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and ability to apply them consistently
• Experience with Git and various Git strategies
• Proven track record of building products from inception to traction
