- • As a Software Engineer, iOS Core Product at Speechify, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the company’s mission to eliminate reading barriers for over 50 million users worldwide by enhancing the iOS app that has been recognized as Apple’s 2025 Design Award winner for Inclusivity and named Chrome Extension of the Year by Google.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include leading key engineering and product decisions, actively shipping production code for the Speechify iOS app, collaborating within a dedicated product team, participating in product discussions to shape the roadmap, and maintaining and enhancing the existing complex app architecture to support scalability and performance.
- • You will join a fully distributed, high-caliber team of nearly 200 engineers, AI researchers, and product experts from top companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and Stanford, as well as high-growth startups such as Stripe, Vercel, and Bolt, working in a flat organization where leadership is earned through technical excellence, consistent results, and a relentless work ethic.

🎯 Requirements
- • Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI for iOS app development
- • Experience with multithreading programming and CI/CD infrastructure
- • Familiarity with Fastlane, Git, and various Git strategies
- • Strong understanding and application of SOLID principles in code design
- • Proven track record of building and scaling products from inception to traction
- • Demonstrated ability to work quickly, maintain focus, and balance heads-down execution with cross-functional collaboration in a remote, high-growth startup environment
