📋 Description

• As a Software Engineer, iOS Core Product at Speechify, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the company’s mission to eliminate reading barriers for over 50 million users worldwide by enhancing the iOS app that has been recognized as Apple’s App of the Day and a Chrome Extension of the Year.
• You will actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app, lead key engineering and product decisions, collaborate within a dedicated product team, participate in shaping the product roadmap, and maintain and enhance the app’s complex architecture to support scalability and performance.
• Speechify is a 100% distributed company with nearly 200 global team members from elite backgrounds including Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Stanford, Stripe, Vercel, and Bolt, fostering a flat organizational structure where technical excellence and results-driven work ethic are rewarded with leadership opportunities.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in Swift and SwiftUI, strengthen your product thinking and customer obsession, gain experience in high-impact decision-making within a fast-paced startup environment, and contribute to a product that transforms how people with learning differences access information, directly impacting millions of lives.

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in Swift programming language and hands-on experience with SwiftUI for building iOS applications
• Proven track record of working on products from inception to traction, with responsibility for engineering and scaling features to large user bases
• Strong understanding of multithreading programming, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, Git workflows, and SOLID principles for writing maintainable, scalable code
