📋 Description

• As a Software Engineer, iOS Core Product at Speechify, you will play a critical role in advancing the company’s mission to eliminate reading barriers for over 50 million users worldwide by enhancing the iOS app that has been recognized as Apple’s App of the Day and a Chrome Extension of the Year.
• Day to day, you will lead key engineering and product decisions, actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app, collaborate within a dedicated product team, participate in shaping the product roadmap, and maintain and enhance the app’s complex architecture using Swift and SwiftUI.
• You will join a fully distributed, high-caliber team of nearly 200 engineers, AI researchers, and product experts from companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and top startups such as Stripe and Vercel, all working in a flat organization that rewards technical excellence and fast execution.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in iOS development, influence product strategy, grow as a technical leader in a fast-paced startup, and contribute to a product that transforms how people with learning differences access information, earning direct user feedback about life-changing impact.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience working on products that scaled to a large user base
• Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI with a track record of building and shipping iOS applications from inception to traction
• Experience with multithreading programming, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, Git, and SOLID principles in software design
