📋 Description

• As a Software Engineer, Mobile AI, iOS at Notion Labs, Inc., you will build and ship AI-first iOS experiences that bring the full power of the workspace into users’ pockets, enabling them to do substantive knowledge work from their phone by understanding context, taking action, and moving work forward in the moment.
• Your day-to-day will involve designing, implementing, launching, and iterating on AI-powered iOS features, improving reliability and performance through crash prevention, fast time-to-first-token, efficient networking, and memory/battery discipline, while evolving architecture via modularization, observability, offline/resilience strategies, and test coverage.
• You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, Data Science, and Research teams to transform ambiguous problems into shipped outcomes, and work across the stack when needed to deliver cohesive AI workflows that are trustworthy, context-aware, and seamlessly integrated.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in AI product instincts, shipping high-scale iOS apps, and cross-functional collaboration, while contributing to a product used by millions — from individuals to enterprises like Toyota, Figma, and OpenAI — and helping define the future of mobile knowledge work.

🎯 Requirements

• 8-10+ years of experience delivering high-impact iOS features for large audiences
• Fluency in Swift and core iOS frameworks
• Ability to ship quality apps at scale with a focus on reliability, performance, and efficient resource usage
• Strong problem-solving skills: modeling problems clearly, iterating toward clean solutions, and seeking help early when needed
• Empathetic communication: ability to convey nuanced ideas clearly in writing and in person, navigating disagreements with curiosity and respect
