- • Join Expressable Inc., a pioneering force in revolutionizing speech therapy delivery through innovative telehealth solutions. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our fully remote team, serving a diverse pediatric population across California. This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage cutting-edge technology, including our proprietary AI assistant, Scout, to enhance patient care and streamline your practice, allowing you to focus on what matters most: meaningful connections with clients and delivering high-quality, outcome-driven therapy.
- • As a remote SLP at Expressable, you will be instrumental in expanding access to family-led online speech therapy. Your role will involve conducting comprehensive evaluations and delivering engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions via our secure telehealth platform. You will collaborate closely with caregivers, empowering them to become active participants in their loved one’s communication journey, fostering a holistic and supportive approach to treatment.
- • The core of your responsibilities will include diagnosing speech, language, and swallowing disorders, and subsequently developing individualized care plans tailored to the unique needs of each pediatric client. You will utilize Expressable’s custom technology and a suite of clinical tools to ensure that care is not only effective but also measurable, with a strong emphasis on caregiver education and active engagement throughout the therapeutic process.
- • Accuracy and timeliness in documentation are paramount. You will be responsible for completing all clinical notes, progress reports, and other required documentation in strict accordance with Expressable's quality standards and regulatory requirements. Our platform is designed to simplify this process, but a commitment to meticulous record-keeping is essential.
- • Beyond direct client care, you will actively participate in all required trainings, team communications, and compliance tasks, ensuring you remain at the forefront of best practices and company initiatives. This includes contributing to the continuous improvement of our services and platform.
- • To ensure seamless continuity of care for our clients, you will be expected to provide coverage for colleagues' Paid Time Off (PTO) and sick leave. This collaborative approach is vital to maintaining the high standard of service that Expressable is known for.
- • We are deeply invested in the professional growth and development of our clinicians. You will have ample opportunities to pursue ongoing professional development through mentorship programs, access to internal Continuing Education Units (CEUs), and participation in monthly Grand Rounds sessions, where complex cases and innovative treatment strategies are discussed.
- • This full-time, exempt, W2-salaried position requires a commitment of 36-40 hours per week. All scheduling options are designed to accommodate client needs, including afternoon and evening availability, ensuring flexibility while meeting the demands of a diverse caseload.
- • Expressable is more than just a telehealth provider; we are a community. You will join a network of over 3,000 clinicians and support staff who are passionate about making a difference. Our clinician-built platform, coupled with our AI assistant Scout, significantly reduces administrative burdens, freeing up your time to focus on clinical excellence and building strong therapeutic relationships.
- • We are committed to creating an unparalleled experience for our remote SLPs. This includes providing robust support systems, access to a wealth of resources, and fostering a collaborative environment where your expertise is valued and your contributions are recognized. By joining Expressable, you are not just taking a job; you are becoming part of a mission-driven organization dedicated to redefining speech therapy for the modern era.
🎯 Requirements
- • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and an individual NPI number.
- • Active State Licensure in California (or a demonstrated willingness and ability to obtain the CA license prior to the start date).
- • Minimum of one (1) year of relevant professional experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, post-Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- • Demonstrated experience in conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for pediatric populations.
- • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace conducive to providing teletherapy services.
🏖️ Benefits

- • Flexible and generous Paid Time Off (PTO) policies designed to support a healthy work-life balance and prevent burnout.
