📋 Description

• • The Sr Controls Engineer at FORTNA drives the design, functionality, and testing of upper-level automated sortation systems, playing a critical role in optimizing order fulfillment and last-mile delivery for global brands through intelligent automation solutions.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include leading controls design and programming for new projects, writing modular and reusable PLC code, developing HMI solutions using platforms like Ignition, Wonderware, FactoryTalk View, or FactoryTalk Optix, implementing and commissioning systems, diagnosing and resolving complex controls issues involving I/O, hardware, and software, and mentoring junior engineers to ensure project success.
