Sr Director Algorithm Engineering

📋 Description

• • As the Senior Director of Engineering, Analytic and Modeling Algorithms at DexCom, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of embedded analyte measurement, signal processing, and fault detection algorithms, as well as cloud-based predictive analytic algorithms, to improve DexCom’s continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) platform and drive innovation in connected health solutions.
• • You will be responsible for DexCom’s embedded algorithm designs and technologies in continuous biosensor products, ensuring industry-leading performance in clinical accuracy and real-world reliability, while enabling new insights through data analytics of product performance in the field and factory.
• • You will lead and mentor a world-class team of scientists and engineers, manage departmental operations including budgets, staffing, and project delivery, and foster organizational alignment around a long-term enabling technology roadmap across all relevant technologies.
• • You will serve as a role model for leadership behavior—demonstrating integrity, communication, collaboration, and passion—while driving talent development, managing risk, navigating tradeoffs, and championing long-term strategic vision for DexCom’s mission to improve global health through biosensing innovation.
